Well done I guess..

I agree with Rwinius:) Some of the instruments could have sounded a tad more realistic for a thicker atmospheric sound. I miss the climax that makes my skin crawl.

I disagree with you when you say top scores are the biggest deals in your life. I could have given you a 10 and said I liked it. But that wouldn't improve you as an artist at all. What matters is constructive criticism. Even if it means a 3 in score..
I'd appreciate a 3 with some good constructive criticism rather than a 10 and the comment "I liked it" etc..

Keep it up:)

Btw, you can't lock an IP from here:p Only a possibility if you were the dude designing this site.

SkyPrisoner responds:

Thanks) Concerning realustic i agree. The track old enough - and quality of tools (samples) low - therefore you feel that is electronic music)

>Btw, you can't lock an IP from here:p Only a possibility if you were the dude designing this site.<
No i don't developt this site, but i undearstend how its work)

Concerning estimations its not objectiv to put 0 - and in any way it not write rewiew ?) it is clear that people do it for top score)))

Hey!

I got the chills on my back when I heard the melody. That's a good thing:)
The structure is very simple and monotonous and it's overmastered. This gives a very blury sound to it and for a second I thought I had crapped up my monitors.

-Make an extended version
-Master it.
-Add variations so called earcandy.
-Don't loop the melody for 3 minutes:p You wanna maintain peoples attention and not give away the whole takeoff rightaway.
-Add a few percs as well to puff it up :)

Keep up the good work:)

Dj-Brand0 responds:

Thanks for the big review Armagelion, I need to work on using percs and hardstyle effects. I need to practice using them much more. And by mastered you mean to say that the kick is overpowered, in return bluring everything else? Yea, that can be easily fixed ;)
Thanks for the advice, I'll really consider it =D
-Cheers Brando

Holy crap!

I got goosebumps from several parts of this song. Not everyday I hear skills within this particular genre on NG. As a matter of fact, this is the first in my opinion. Nice buildup and float through the whole piece. Instruments well used. This is worth a download!

Keep it up!

EvilRaccoon responds:

Hehe, thanks so much! This piece was actually created with Edirol Orchestra since you asked in the PM. I plan sometime in redoing this one, to make it sound better with the new instuments I have. =)

Thanks again!

Hm..

I hear you're a hard user of the hardstyle vocals pack..
I'm going to be as constructive and helpful as possible:)

The track kicks off with the "Backverb E" vocal from HS Vol.2 followed by some dominant crowd effects. Along with the musicbox'ish bells that makes the melody (sounds like nexus though) are crowdclaps.. (You should reduce the volume on those to make it less noisy as they kinda drown the rest of the song.

The baseline sounds like a dark squarelead? (sounds like the same lead that ocassionally plays the melody?)
However.. This is not a bad track:) It has a catchy melody to it, but it's very repetetive, and my studiomonitors didn't like the mastering that good..

Overall, here's a short summary:)

-Mastering..(As important as the song itself)
-More variations. (It's very repetetive and every second I can predict what's coming next)
-Some samples are overcompressed or too high volume?
-This track would have become alot more "stuffed" with some fat leads instead of using squareleads.

Keep up the good work:)

Dj-Rippa responds:

Thank you for the 6... I suppose.
I can take into count that obviously you are a serious music critic, which I respect.
you were right about the blutonium boy hardstyle sample pack in which I had stated in the author comments for the track.
I had not used nexus in this project... But I can understand that the sounds may resemble ones that could be found in nexus.

Thank you for the constructive review...
I will indeed try to keep up the good work :)

Haha:p

Omg, awesome:p Well mixed:)

endlessnumber responds:

:-)

Nice!

Finally, some good house on NG xD Catchy beat, well done with all the fx.. Totally awesome!

Wrxsti91090 responds:

thanks ^.^

i will post up new mixes soon enough!

Chrono Trigger roxx!

I've played the game several times:p It roxx:p
However, I have to agree abit with Supersatan3 that techno is a small no since Frog was from medieval times, but it's remix, so.. Keep up the good work :)

DJ-HappyFace responds:

Read my response for Supersatan's review, since you agreed with him lol

Thanks for the review :)

Nice!

Full jackpot from me :) Sweet intro, nice melody and takeoff!
Based on the reverb used, it sounds like you're using FLStudio?:p

Rawrthaas responds:

Yep, FL

Thanks man =]

Oh..

Kicks off with a cool house beat for 5 seconds. I hear you misplaced 1 perc tone in the beat. The following leads are sqeaky and detoned. 3 minutes with the same repetetive "melody" is too long. Need variations :)

-Extend the intro beat
-Add a kickass bassline
-Check if the tones are in harmony. (As it seems like they're not)

..But keep up the good work:) Practice makes champion :)

TheDragon666 responds:

Hmm il be beter in next one i'm just a bit rusty xD

Hehe..

This is an old classic which followed ModPlug Tracker back in the days.. :p
Anyways.. giving it a 10 as it was a kickass track back then:)

Oakwood responds:

That's right, I'm using Modplug Tracker :P.

Just a dude who fancy producing in his spare time.. nothing more, nothing less:p It's fun.. and that's what it's all about :) Enjoy for what it's worth :)
