The intro is standard recipe:p I enjoyed it from the classic part.. nice transitions over to the takeoff part as well:) I hate the vocals:p Probably because I've heard them in x-numerous songs before.. hehe:p The only thing that surprised me was the bassline. Why didn't you change tones? I can hear at least 4 notes that would fit to make it more bouncy :p

Nice rev. Thanks for your point of view. Altrough its your point of view and for my own feeling the track is done. I didnt feel the need to *add* more tones in it, cause it would bring to much chaos in the track. Its a direct hardstyle style straight from Holland so maybe if you would check out some of that stuff you would hear that it follows all the rules of the guide ;).

Ok, I'm gonna be totally honest with you.. I must have heard at least 30 remixes of this track. All of them were fucked up pieces of crappy annoying productions who deserve to be sealed up in space. You just showed that there actually exists a producer out there who can make a kickass remix xD

I agree with Rwinius:) Some of the instruments could have sounded a tad more realistic for a thicker atmospheric sound. I miss the climax that makes my skin crawl.

I disagree with you when you say top scores are the biggest deals in your life. I could have given you a 10 and said I liked it. But that wouldn't improve you as an artist at all. What matters is constructive criticism. Even if it means a 3 in score..
I'd appreciate a 3 with some good constructive criticism rather than a 10 and the comment "I liked it" etc..

I'll jump to the constructive criticism part right away.

-First of all, and the first fix whatsoever: You should get the beat right. The lead melody runs in 1/3 step and the rest of the song isn't. Listen to the original track and you'll hear my point.
-Add variations to the song
-Sounds like you're using FL with the built-in kick and percs, this is a big no-no :p

Keep it up. Practice makes champion :)

Hey!

I got the chills on my back when I heard the melody. That's a good thing:)
The structure is very simple and monotonous and it's overmastered. This gives a very blury sound to it and for a second I thought I had crapped up my monitors.

-Make an extended version
-Master it.
-Add variations so called earcandy.
-Don't loop the melody for 3 minutes:p You wanna maintain peoples attention and not give away the whole takeoff rightaway.
-Add a few percs as well to puff it up :)

Thanks for the big review Armagelion, I need to work on using percs and hardstyle effects. I need to practice using them much more. And by mastered you mean to say that the kick is overpowered, in return bluring everything else? Yea, that can be easily fixed ;)

Holy crap!

I got goosebumps from several parts of this song. Not everyday I hear skills within this particular genre on NG. As a matter of fact, this is the first in my opinion. Nice buildup and float through the whole piece. Instruments well used. This is worth a download!

Is this your own track or a remix? Sounds like a remix of an eurodance track I heard a few years back..almost the same melody:p
An overall good piece of euro:)

And now the constructive criticism:)

- It could use some vocals to fill the gaps:)
- Sounds like you've overcompressed/filtered/EQ'ed some channels and the treble is too dominant.
- It tends to get very repetetive.. About 3 minutes of the songs total length consists of the same looped melody.

I think that should cover it:)
